Welcome to our wonderful school community! My name is Victoria Wegelin, and I am blessed to be the principal of St. Denis Catholic School. At St. Denis Catholic Elementary School, we are blessed to serve the families of St. Catharines by providing a faith-filled education rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Guided by Gospel values, we work together to nurture hearts, minds, and spirits so that every child can grow into the person God has called them to be.
Our commitment to excellence in literacy and numeracy ensures that students are equipped with the foundational skills they need for lifelong learning and success. At the same time, we believe education is about much more than academics. We strive to educate the whole student—supporting spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth.
Through prayer, sacramental life, and daily opportunities to live our faith, students learn the importance of compassion, responsibility, and service. Together with our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and parish community, we create a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment where every child is valued and encouraged to shine.
